The exhibition about communication and technology by David Warren used holograms and a story to convey a message about relationships. The text was all broken to symbolise text messaging which was quite hard to read and a bit off putting. The images I found all very similar and the whole exhibition on the phone call was dependent on the text. The images didn't give any sense to the story, and i think that the if you were to just look at the images you would have no idea of the story but you could read the text, understand the story and not need the images at all. Brings me to the question whats the point of the images at all.
As a visual piece this was not very interesting at all.

Thank you for the response and of course you are right on the button; hence the title;"I Dreamt We Had Something To Say". I set out, at much expense and time and preparation, to make a large hologram with similar imagery which has very little variation, backing up the conversation it illustrates which itself is a reflection of and typical of much banal SMS usage.
